Investment Specialist [Hedge Fund Strategies]

A leading global asset manager is seeking a tenured Investment Specialist to join their Hedge Fund Investor Relations team. This is an excellent opportunity to be led by an Investment Director at a highly reputable firm in a team at the focal point of current business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the communication strategy of the firm’s product offering – continually assess opportunities for business growth and tailored solutions and acting as an SME for any incoming questions.
• Assist in the creation and upkeep of marketing materials such as RFPs, factsheets, DDQs, client questionnaires etc.
• Protect the integrity of the investment and risk management process to ensure client needs are met and parameters are obeyed.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Product Management and Operations to share guidelines and develop best practices.

 

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5+ years’ Long/Short Equity experience and/or experience with Multi-Strategy, Global Macro, Credit, Event-Driven, Arbitrage etc. strategies.
• Strong educational background and MBA/CFA highly desirable.
• Proven ability to communicate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commercial, inquisitive mindset and can-do attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to adapt to differing levels of stakeholder competencies.
