Description

Our client is a global asset management firm with an excellent reputation in the institutional market. This is an ideal opportunity for a Product Strategist looking to leverage their expertise in a market-leading team on a temporary basis. Key responsibilities:

  • Determine the positioning and target market for the company’s investment strategies.
  • Identify, establish and develop a set of goals and actions (e.g. develop materials, product training, new vehicles, change in positioning, etc.)
  • Oversee the ongoing execution and enhancement of the communication strategy in partnership with the investment and client groups
  • Contribute to the development of content (e.g. white papers, market research, pitch book, fact-sheets, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the investment and client teams to develop and deliver regular product trainings.
  • Monitor, evaluate and improve the businesses range of investment vehicles (Private funds, UCITS, SICAVs etc).
  • Observe the business’ competitive positioning in terms of objectives, performance, fees and vehicles.

 

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or similar as well as MBA and/or CFA qualification is desired.
  • 5 + years’ experience in a relevant role, 3+ years’ experience within asset management.
  • Advanced knowledge of global institutional investors and global investment vehicles (UCITS, mutual funds, commingled funds).
  • Advanced analytical/conceptual problem-solving skills with ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative approaches and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with project management, presentation development and delivery.
  • Demonstrate high intellectual capacity and curiosity.
  • Have a strong work ethic, self-starter and a quick-study mentality, ability to work independently and also lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
