Investment Specialist – Fixed Income

A prestigious investment management firm has a unique opportunity for an Investment Specialist to join one of their leading investment teams. This is a new role due to continued growth of the business.

The Investment Specialist will be a key representative for the team’s fixed income strategies and work closely with product, investments and client teams. Our client is looking for a bright, inquisitive and collaborative individual for this opportunity.

Role responsibilities include:

• Develop content to highlight portfolio positioning, market trends and optimise competitive positioning
• Engage with clients and participate in meetings to communicate investment philosophy, strategy and performance
• Work closely with marketing and client teams to oversee effective messaging of strategies and sign off collateral
• Conduct performance attribution and risk analysis
• Assisting with product strategy/development and management for the team’s strategies

Key requirements for the role:

• 5+ years’ experience in the investment management industry
• Experience working in a similar fixed income position is required for this role
• CFA qualified (or currently studying towards)
• The ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally is essential
• A demonstrated interest in fixed income investing and passion for learning
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinker
