Credit Research Analyst

Description

Our client, a global asset manager, is looking to recruit a Credit Analyst to join their fast-growing Credit investment team.

The successful candidate will undertake credit analysis specifically focusing companies across the credit rating spectrum within the Financials sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed fundamental credit research to generate investment ideas
• Contribute to portfolio management through generating investment recommendations based on credit fundamentals, relative value and market dynamics
• Continuous monitoring of credits under coverage including analysis of quarterly results or any relevant news flow
• Monitor industry trends and news flow to assess impact on credit worthiness and relative value implications
• Contribute to the investment process through sharing of relevant credit market information

Candidate Requirements:

• 2-6 years’ credit research experience on the buy-side or sell-side
• Ideally previous experience analysing financial institutions
• Excellent academic background
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment – proactive and collaborative personality
