Private Equity Investment Analyst

Description

Our client is a well-established global asset management firm. They are looking to recruit a Private Equity Analyst to join their growing PE investment team in London. This role will focus on identifying the best investment ideas within late-stage growth companies across multiple sectors and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source attractive investment opportunity directly, through relevant intermediaries and own personal network
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to generate investment ideas
• Present new investment opportunities to wider team
• Lead meeting with management of companies
• Manage the investment process, including term sheet submission and document negotiations

The successful candidate will have:

• 4-7 years total work experience
• Relevant experience in private equity, growth capital or late stage venture capital
• Previous experience working in investment banking, management consulting, equity research or audit
• Strong academic credentials (minimum 2:1 degree) from a top-tier university
• Interest in investing in fast growing businesses and have an entrepreneurial flair
• Analytically astute, with a creative outlook – a good balance of quantitative and qualitative skills
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
