Description
A leading asset management firm is seeking an experienced individual to join the Investment team to help drive and oversee the ESG integration in the investment process. This position with play a vital role in influencing Portfolio Managers and Analysts to assess the implications of sustainability issues for investment decisions.
The main responsibilities include:
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers to build a detail understanding of their investment process/philosophy and assess how sustainability analysis can enhance returns for investors
- Continuously promote awareness of sustainability tools within the investment business
- Attend investment meetings and discuss sustainability topics
- Coach fundamental analysts to ensure that ESG issues are analysed and included in their output
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience and background in the investment industry as a Portfolio Manager or Research Analyst
- Passion for responsible investing
- Understanding of ESG drivers
- Strong communication skills
