Description

A global, top tier asset management firm is seeking a bright and ambitious individual to join their Product team as a Product Development Manager. You will partner with Investments, Distribution, and Legal to launch and implement new investment products, managing the funds throughout the entire lifecycle, own the governance, and present to boards and committees where appropriate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of UCITS & OEIC products, including product design, structuring, and documentation. Identify market opportunities that ensure the needs and expectations of identified customer groups are met.
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, prospectuses, and investor documentation.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and guidelines, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Handle the design and delivery of product initiatives to agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Manage & monitor the existing range of fund products and coordinate changes, merges, liquidations, rationalisations etc. where necessary.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of relevant market activity and work closely with colleagues to develop ideas that contribute to the future strategic direction of the business.
  • Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders about product structures and processes.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • 6 years’ minimum experience in a Product role within asset management. Candidates with experience in Project Management/Product Delivery/Implementation will also be considered.
  • IMC, CFA or similar qualification is preferable.
  • Knowledge of product and proposition design as well as a technical knowledge of pooled product structures including UCITS and non-UCITS structures.
  • International asset management industry knowledge with extensive knowledge of investment products.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management & organisational skills.
