Business Development Manager

Our client is a leading Alternative Investment Management Firm, renowned for their client-centric approach. Due to continued business success, they are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their high-performing Retail Sales department on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

• Take initiative to create new opportunities and develop relationships through presentation, recognition and hospitality events.
• Take ownership of relationships within specified regions. These will include, but are not limited to: paraplanners, admin staff, specific advisors and firms within the region.
• Schedule meetings and telephone/WebEx meetings for yourself.
• Generate and manage pipeline, focusing on conversion, and applications, specifically efficient allocation of investments.
• Take steps to maintain and improve your knowledge and personal skillset (including professional qualifications) through a dynamic PDP that reflects areas of focus and improvement.

The Business Development Manager will meet the following skillset:

• 2+ years’ relevant experience.
• Transferable sales experience.
• Proven record of sales performance.
• Legally eligible to work in the UK.
