Junior Business Manager

Description

We are working with a prestigious investment management firm who are looking to hire a Junior Business Manager to join their COO team. The role is best suited to candidates with a work history in managing business operations within investment management.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Junior Business Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

• Support the COO and CEO with identifying and resolving routine business matters.
• Drafting and creating presentations and other meeting materials.
• Lead project meetings.
• Monitor and provide analysis of operational budgets.
• Work closely with department heads to track and improve systems and metrics.
• Looking at ways to improve efficiency within the COO function.
• Writing up business cases.
• Proactively providing meeting minutes/reports and maintaining up to date records, including action lists and project logs.

The Junior Business Manager will meet the following skillset:

• Minimum 5 year’s relevant experience within the investment management sector.
• Experience managing projects and operational systems.
• Degree educated or equivalent.
• A natural problem solver.
• Assertive and proactive.
• Proven experience across the following areas:
  • Change management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Data management
  • Process improvement
