Corporate Accountant [Recently Qualified] FTC

Description

A leading global investment management firm is seeking an Accountant on a 6-month FTC to assist in the finance department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within an established team working on a large variety of mandates. Interested candidates please note that there may be possibility for extension however this cannot be guaranteed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounting duties relating to monthly close of the firm’s legal entities
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements across various jurisdictions and report findings to management
• Prepare filings and surveys for regulatory agencies
• Support external audit; audit work papers and responding to auditor inquires
• Identify and troubleshoot opportunities to improve system efficiency

 

Candidate Profile:

• Recently qualified accountant [0-2 yrs’ PQE / 3-5 yrs’ accountancy experience]
• Knowledge of IFRS highly desirable
• Strong Excel skills
• Analytical and attention to detail
• Efficient and clear communicator
