Description

An exciting opportunity to join a global asset management firm as a global healthcare sector specialist in the global equities team. The successful candidate will work independently to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the healthcare sector and generate actionable investment ideas for a range of portfolio managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bottom-up fundamental equity analysis to generate high-conviction investment recommendations
  • Develop detailed financial models to identify alpha-generating opportunities within the healthcare sector
  • Monitor and evaluate existing portfolios holdings, ensuring timely updates and recommendations
  • Communicate research findings and stock ideas to portfolio managers and the broader research team
  • Engage directly with company management through meetings and site visits
  • Contribute to the wider investment debate, sharing insights and perspectives on market trends and sector developments

Candidate profile:

  • Proven experience in buy-side equity research
  • Deep expertise in the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics and key drivers
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • CFA qualification preferably
  • Genuine passion for investing and a commitment to delivering high-quality research
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious and comfortable taking initiative
  • Enjoy working in an open, collaborative team environment
