Description
Our client is a leading Fixed Income Asset Management firm renowned for their recent growth. Due to continued success, they are now seeking a skilled Insurance Sales Director to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Head of Distribution, the Sales Director will take on the following dynamic responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies aimed at insurance companies across the UK, Continental Europe, Ireland, and Bermuda.
- Enhance the brand’s recognition as a premier insurance asset manager in the region, positioning it as a leader in providing tailored investment management solutions for insurers.
- Leverage personal and company resources, technical expertise, and industry networks to promote the firm’s capabilities, while identifying opportunities to showcase its successful track record.
- Act as a reliable source of market intelligence and feedback, delivering key insights from prospects to the company and contributing to marketing materials, RFPs, presentations, and bespoke analyses.
- Collaborate closely with distribution teams, including sales teams in the UK and Europe, to drive insurance-related opportunities and refine the marketing and presentation process for securing new business.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skillset:
- An undergraduate degree (or highly relevant professional experience).
- More than 10 years of experience in Sales within the Insurance sector across the UK and EU, ideally with a focus on fixed income asset management.
- Proven track record of developing strong relationships with prospects, combined with exceptional business development skills.
- Fluent in German, with previous coverage of the DACH region.
