Description

Our client is a prestigious investment management house with a global presence. Due to an exceptionally busy period within the organisation, they are looking to recruit a Senior Market Data Analyst on a permanent basis.

The Senior Market Data Analyst will take responsibility for the following:

  • Vendor Management – manage relationships between all data providers including contract negotiation, renewals and agreements.
  • Cost optimisation – conduct spend analysis, introduction of lower cost alternatives for market data providers to departments
  • Compliance – be the main point of contact for data inquiries, handle audits, adherence to FCA Conduct Rules.
  • Administration – maintain accurate data of the company’s data environment.

The successful Senior Market Data Analyst will have the following credentials:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the investment management sector or at a data provider
  • Excellent understanding of the regulatory landscape within investment management
  • Knowledge of core market data applications (Factset, Bloomberg, Reuters, Etc.)
  • Strong spreadsheet knowledge.
