Description
Our client is a leading name within the investment management sector. Due to continued business growth and success, they are now looking to recruit for a Market Intelligence position in their London office.
The Market Intelligence professional will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Develop the appropriate end-to-end process, from origination and collation of data to the dissemination of analysis to relevant audiences.
- Creation of regular market intelligence reports, highlighting fund specific USPs and positioning in key peer groups.
- Provide support to the Distribution teams with detailed competitor portfolio analysis and market insights.
- Enhance the research process, ensure appropriate tools are in place and aim to automate where possible.
- Conducting client surveys to understand investment demands and key commercial themes.
- Respond to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders within the business with regards to market intelligence.
The ideal Market Intelligence candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years’ experience in market intelligence for asset management.
- Experience with various market intelligence systems (e.g. Morningstar Direct, Broadridge GMI, eVestment, Preqin) and the ability to manage, automate and interpret large amounts of data.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
