Investment Specialist

Description

An exciting opportunity to join a leading global asset management firm. This role will interact closely with the investment and distribution functions providing expert investment advice to investors.

Key responsibilities:

• Engage with clients on the product range, investment outlook and provide technical information on the investment process and proposition
• Work closely with the sales team and support on converting new prospects into clients
• Attend client meetings independently or alongside Portfolio Managers to promote the product range
• Provide investors with regular key updates on performance, portfolio changes and market outlook
• Respond to client queries that require technical investment response
• Liaise with marketing team to maintain high quality marketing material and research including introductory pitches, quarterly update presentations and ad-hoc client materials

Candidate Profile:

• 2-4 years’ relevant experience at an asset manager
• High level of investment knowledge with a good understanding of fixed income and alternative asset classes
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and confidence in managing client relationships
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude to work
• Working towards CFA qualification preferred
• Strong academic profile
