Description
A highly regarded and established fund of hedge funds business is looking to hire an analyst to join the Operational Due Diligence team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fund ODD reviews on leading hedge funds spanning a range of strategies and geographies
- Lead onsite meetings with hedge funds and also present at investment committee meetings
- Lead on periodic deep dive reviews of existing funds
- Track liquidity of underlying funds quarterly including LIII assets
- Review fund financial statements and highlight any potential issues or areas to follow up
- Collate ESG information on underlying managers and create scorecards
Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role or FS Audit experience from Big 4 firm
- Professional industry qualification preferred (ACA, CFA, CAIA)
- Advanced Excel skills, VBA and coding a pluS
- Degree level education
- Professional with a positive outlook and “can do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong presentational style
- Self-starter capable of working independently
