Description

Our client, a global asset management firm, is seeking to hire Portfolio Manager to join the Emerging Markets Fixed Income team.

The role is predominantly focused on Hard Currency Sovereigns. The successful candidate will contribute towards idea generation and the day-to-day management of hard currency strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Active management of EM Fixed Income portfolios
  • Contribute to idea generation and make informed investment decisions
  • Oversee portfolio construction process for hard currency bond strategy and leverage optimisation tools and risk models to construct portfolios
  • Actively participate in team meetings and actively contribute to alpha generation outside primary scope
  • Implement ESG guidelines into portfolio management practices

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Relevant portfolio management or research experience in Emerging Market Debt
  • In depth knowledge of fixed income instruments
  • Strong understanding of EM hard currency debt market
  • Excellent quantitative skills and coding experience in VBA or Python
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Meticulousness and hard working
  • Team player
