Trade Support Analyst

Description

Our client is a prestigious investment management house in London. Due to an exciting period of company growth, they are now looking to recruit a Trade Support Analyst to join their Trade Support team on a permanent basis.

Working as part of a wider, dynamic team which acts as the funnel into the Front Office, the Trade Support Analyst will carry out the following duties:

• Acting as an escalation point for fixed income trade related queries
• Researching and resolving trade and FX discrepancies by interacting with brokers, banks, and fund managers
• Managing trades on the in-house platform
• Involvement project management related to fund launches and trade support
• Evaluating operational requirements of new asset types being considered for investment
• Supporting the investment management group
• Acting as an FMA (Fund Manager’s Assistant) to the Front Office
• Preparing reports for management and internal committees

The Trade Support Analyst will meet the following skill set:

• Holds an undergraduate degree or equivalent
• Holds a relevant professional qualification such as the IMC or CFA
• Can demonstrate a working knowledge of fixed income or equity products
• Strong working proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communicator who is confident in liaising with Front Office
• Knowledge of the full trade life-cycle
