VP, Product Strategy & Development [Alternatives]

A leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced Product Development & Strategy professional to join their growing team focusing on democratising private assets across global markets. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research into the competitor landscape to benchmark existing funds and originate ideas for new launches RE pricing, regulatory changes, future growth alignment.
• Liaise with multiple internal stakeholders to design, launch, close & merge new and existing funds [Legal, Tax, Compliance, Risk etc.] and establish a client product literature and marketing strategy [Sales, Marketing, Client Services].
• Manage product pipeline content and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure this is communicated efficiently across teams.
• Act as the SME on the firm’s alternatives platform, taking questions from stakeholders and constantly monitoring new trends and potential offerings.

 

Candidate Profile:

• 5 – 8 years’ experience of professional experience with minimum 3 years’ experience in a product development/strategy function in an asset manager/alternatives asset manager/investment bank.
• Knowledge of the retail market, with a clear understanding of trends and investor needs.
• Experienced across closed-end, open-end and evergreen structures.
• Strong knowledge of the Private Credit market highly desirable.
• CFA highly desirable.
